Countdown to the last day of school has begun. This year I am going to try to save money and not send the kids to camp. Last year I sent them for about half of the summer, and my bank account took quite the hit. While I might work from home, I am not available all the time to watch or entertain the children. I am working on a very structured schedule to keep the kids entertained and me on track – I hope to be able to share it soon. However here is a little sneak peak of an activity prepared for this summer. SNOWBALL FIGHT!
This year we had the twins birthday party at a martial arts studio, and the first activity was a snowball fight. It was just these fluffy balls the kids were tossing around at each other, but they enjoyed it so much. It got me thinking “could we do that more often” and what if we took it to the park not just running around the house. This is how “Snowball Fight in Summer” was born. In addition to the actual snowball toss, I decided that the kids could be occupied for a few hours making pom poms instead of buying premade fluffy balls.
